Define operational guidelines by leading the implementation of the hospital’s strategic plan into actionable departmental plans and objectives in collaboration with the team.

Analyze and monitor issues arising from occurrence reports and customer complaints to develop strategic plans and set both short-term and long-term departmental goals.

Assess and monitor the quality of treatment and services provided by physical therapists and occupational therapists.

Ensure that staff strictly comply with the standards set by the hospital, as well as JCIA and HA accreditation requirements.

Plan and monitor quality improvement activities to ensure high standards of patient care and service delivery.

Evaluate, manage, and execute the department’s operational budget according to the approved financial plan.

Implement and follow up on the procurement plans for tools and equipment needed in the department.

Analyze workload volume in relation to available staffing, and regularly review and report findings to hospital management for further decision-making.
Responsibilities Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field.

Valid professional license and registration.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in physical therapy with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Familiarity with JCIA and HA standards and hospital quality systems.

Workable proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
